Celebrating the holidays

Jaguars offensive tackle Tony Pashos and several of his teammates used their "off day" on Monday to spread some holiday cheer to several children in the area. Pashos joined 10 of his teammates for a special visit to Wolfson Children's Hospital to hand out gifts for the more than 75 children that won't be spending the holidays at home.
Following the hospital visit, Pashos hosted 12 children from Guardian Ad Litem in Jacksonville at Applebee's in St. John's Town Center for dinner, and then he took the group on a shopping spree at Dick's Sporting Goods. The event was one of the monthly outings Pashos hosts with the Pashos Pals group he started in 2007.

Montell Owens and Drayton Florence stopped by Kirby Smith Middle School to help encourage their 6th grade students to become more physically active. Set to attend a school assembly, at the last minute Owens and Florence decided to change the script with an impromptu decision to take close to 300 student out onto the field where they played a game called "Football/Soccer".
Broken up into 10 teams it was amazing how quickly they were able to get the students organized. After 20 minutes of physical activity they took the student back into the auditorium for a more formal setting to chat with the kids about the What Moves U program and why they decided to bring this program to their school.
