Fans and fun in the Universal Orlando Resort

I hope you enjoy reading about our adventure and seeing all of the photos from our exciting trip to the Universal Orlando Resort!  The cheerleaders appeared at the theme parks and even had time to check out all of the rides and attractions.  You can see all of the fun in this gallery.  The rest of the galleries contain images from all of the gorgeous photo shoots that took place at the beautiful resorts on property.  I hope you enjoy seeing all of the behind the scenes action of our calendar shoot and I hope you are as excited as I am to see the 2009-2010 calendar that will be launched at the beginning of the football season.  I am on my way to select the 32 best photos from the 6,500 we took!!!!

Loews Royal Pacific Resort, final day

Inside the Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal, we had a photo shoot today inside the orchid court and then at the pool. We took pictures in the cabanas, on the lifeguard chairs, and even under water.  Click here to see the pictures.

Hey this is Kaleigh and Kayla and we're here at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort. We are having so much fun shooting with Paul. This whole experience has been great, from hair with Tracey and Nancy to make-up with MAC Artists. Kayla shot in the orchid garden and pool-side. Kaleigh shot on the beach side and the Royal Bali Sea Ship. We are so excited to be here and we hope you enjoy the pictures! TTFN!

Hey Jag fans its Kristyann and we just got done with our last shoot it was an underwater shoot that contained all four of us which was so cool and a completely incredible experience that we will never forget. The landscape here at the Royal Pacific is very south pacific tropical and beautiful. I am so sad to be leaving, but excited to return to Jacksonville!

Hey Jaguars, this is Jenna. I am just finishing up my shoot at the Royal Pacific and it has been awesome! One of my shots was taken in the beautiful orchid garden, my second shot was taken pool side in the tropical environment on a lifeguard chair. Shooting with Kaleigh, Kayla, and Kristyann has been a lot of fun. I can't wait to arrive in Jacksonville this afternoon. See you soon.

Every year gets better and I can't thank everyone enough for their support!  The hair and makeup  team, my assistants and the 32 beautiful  women were great.  AND special love to Christy for putting it all together and putting up with my crankiness when I am hungry.  The shoot is done, but now we start pairing down  the 6500 images to 32 selections.  You girls are the BEST!

Hard Rock Hotel gardens & resort walkway, day three

Another beautiful shoot for the calendar. This afternoon we shot on location in the gardens at the Hard Rock Hotel and also around the Universal resort walkway surrounding the hotel. All of the photos turned around wonderful and the girls looked great.  Click here to see them!

Poolside at the Hard Rock Hotel, day three

Hi from poolside at the Hard Rock Hotel in the Universal Orlando Resort. Weather was perfect today and so was our shoot! I loved my hair and makeup today which resembled Faith Hill (so excited about that)! It was a really great experience shooting and watching the other beautiful ladies shoot around this gorgeous hotel.

Hey Jacksonville! It's day three and we have switched up the Italian scenery to the hip Hard Rock Hotel. We were up bright and early at 5am for a fun filled day at the pool. I even went for a little swim during the shoot.you can hardly call this work J So excited to see the finished product! Go Jaguars!

Hey Jaguar fans! We've had such a great day at the Hard Rock Hotel this morning. I took my shots in between palm trees and "emerged from the jungle". J All the girls did such a great job and we even found time to fit in some time to hula hoop. Look for the pictures in our album.

Greetings from Orlando, Jaguars fans! I just had the most amazing time shooting for the 2009-2010 calendar. I was poolside at the Hard Rock Hotel. The architecture and scenery of the hotel make the photos look classic and timeless! This is definitely an experience I will always remember as a rookie! Hey Jag Fans! So I just got done with my shoot at the Hard Rock Hotel. It's nice and sunny outside, but very hot! I had a fabulous time shooting for the calendar. I got to take water shots in the pool and it felt GREAT! It was an awesome experience, like nothing I have ever done. I can't wait for the season!

Hello Jacksonville, I am having a wonderful time here in beautiful Orlando in the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. I just got done shooting in the Hard Rock Hotel here at their gorgeous pool! Hello Jaguars fans! This is Laurie and this is day two of the calendar shoot. I had the opportunity to get up at 5:00 am to hang out with the lovely ladies of The ROAR for hair and makeup. The shoot took place at the wonderful Harbor Piazza at the Portofino Hotel. We are all excited to see how our great fans of Jacksonville will love the finished product. Well, see you soon!

Hey everyone!!! Were here in Orlando for our calendar shoot. We couldn't have asked for a prettier day the sun is shining bright and the temperature is just right! We all had the pleasure of waking up at 5am to get all jazzy for our shoot J We are now relocating to the beach pool to take some more shots. We will all be back before you know it! First day at Universal Orlando Resort

The first day of the shoot was very busy! The cheerleaders departed from Jacksonville at 9am and arrived in Orlando ready to get the fun started. The team kicked off all of the activities at the Universal Orlando Resort by appearing in uniform at the Universal Globe for a photo shoot. Fans from all over the country were excited to get their picture with The ROAR. After that the first group of 4 cheerleaders had their calendar photo shoot.

Hey Jags fans! Kelley and Kayla here at the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel shooting the first day of the calendar. This place is so beautiful it looks like Italy. We are so excited about being here and it's been fun getting all dolled up! Today all 32 girls got a chance to go to CityWalk and take a group shot in front of the Universal Globe. We are so excited about the rest of the week. Go Jags!

Hello from Orlando! We have had such a wonderful day with all our teammates! From catching up on the bus ride down, to the boat ride over to CityWalk, to getting our hair and make-up done together - it has all been a ball!!! We're looking forward to the rest of our trip!

Heading to Universal Orlando Resort!

This year, The ROAR will be filming their annual swimsuit calendar at Universal Orlando Resort.   Over the next few days, well be giving jaguars.com visitors an exclusive look at the making of the calendar through blog posts, galleries, and videos shot on location in Orlando.   Here's a shot of us getting on the bus to get started.  We'll be back tomorrow with a lot more.  For full info on the shoot, you can read the official press release.
