It looks like John Fox had no idea who made our defense so good last year because he talked about JDR having some of the best defenses in the NFL like that was all his doing, not Mel Tucker's accomplishment. But obviously he was good early on before we started drafting busted players. The question is why were we so horrible on defense with a former linebacker as the head coach?

^I think Fox was speaking on Jack's overall tenure. Tania also tweeted that the Broncos have hired former Jags S&C coach Luke Richesson. Best of luck to both of them.

I am not expecting anything before Labor Day, when the Broncos have some different players on their active roster, a depth chart for the defense, and lots of meetings and practices with JDR behind them.

It looks like you had no idea Jack Del Rio was defensive coordinator for John Fox in Carolina, where he lead the #2 defense in the NFL.

Of course Fox would be confident and trust a coach that's accomplished that for him.

I wish JDR the best, unless he's playing Jacksonville of course.

Broncos don't play Jags this season....

I wonder if the DelRio family will move to Denver right away??? Jack's son was starting QB for Episcopal HS last year and will be a senior.... Often parents let kids finish at their high school....

What are the odds Del Rio tries to make a linebacker out of Timmy Tebow?

0% That would make tebow an utterly and total failure at the QB position too soon. His QB abilities will take him there sooner or later, just not this season yet. Probably next season when he doesnt get picked up by another team. Linebacker or another line of work for timmy.

He should do fairly well. Some great young talent on that defense.
