I can't even defend that one, I like Anger figured we would draft him but in the 3rd? Really Gene? He better be the best punter to ever take the field to justify him going that high.

There are SOOOOOOOO many guys we could have drafted and still got Anger in the 5th. Unbelievable. Whatever good will Gene earned yesterday he just blew. Kahn should fire him Monday. They are talking about Russell Wilson now. Why not take him?

In the last 20 years here is the list of punters drafted higher than 70th overall. Todd Sauerbrun, Harold Alexander, Rohn Stark.

Clearly a whose who of punters! kickers are a dime a dozen. always have been, always will be.

only a team expecting to punt 20 times a game would draft a punter that high
