Megatron almost always goes top 7 but, I've never seen Stafford go in round1. Doesn't really seem far fetched to get both.

In a 10 team or greater, (which is what most leagues are) yes it does. Having both of them falling to pick 10 is ridiculous. Then again, maybe he's in a 6 team league or something. I like to be in competitive challenging leagues, so I would almost be embarrassed if I was sitting at 10 and was able to get both Megatron AND Stafford.

This isn't last year's drafts.

I'd start Torrey Smith over both Colston and Antonio Brown this year.

Ten team league, fourth overall:
QB: Aaron Rodgers, Andy Dalton
RB: Matt Forte, Adrian Peterson, Darren Sproles, Cedric Benson, Isaac Redman, Rashad Jennings
WR: Steve Smith, Antonio Brown, Eric Decker, Justin Blackmon, Laurent Robinson
TE: Brandon Pettigrew
D/ST: Eagles
K: Matt Prater
Not in love with the WRs, but I plan on using a RB in my flex most weeks.

Sorry I don't think it's far fetched to get Calvin at 5 and Stafford in the mid second.
I can see him as a Darren Sproles type back, but nothing more. JagFanatic24 on Richardson

I was going to say that you should use some of that RB talent and trade for some WR help. Steve Smith as your top WR is way too risky.

I do. Do people not understand just how good Stafford is?? Last years stats was just a preview of whats to come. - and last year he was right there with the Rodgers/ Brees/ etc etc, the TOP QB's. I can't even imagine the numbers Stafford would put up if they actually had a legit WR2 across from Megatron. He'd break all the NFL single season passing records.

Yeah, there was a run of WRs right before my Smith pick. Four of the five previous picks were Jordy Nelson, Julio Jones, Hakeem Nicks, and Brandon Marshall. I would easily take any of them over Smith.

I'm also working on a trade that could net me Torrey Smith from someone for a RB or two.

Ideally, Jennings and/or Redman have real nice openers and I can trade a short term RB for a decent long term WR.

Yeah I understand it. He was on my team last year. Do you understand that some people don't draft qbs in the first rounds? Ive seen Stafford go late first, early third, and mid second. It's not that far fetched for him to fall 5 picks.

It's a shocker but, not everyone's board is the same as yours. Like me for example, I wouldn't take a qb in the first 2 rounds. Different doesn't equal wrong.

Whoever got him in the early third really lucked out.
If it's a league where QBs only get 4 points for TDs, you usually don't see more than 3-4 QBs go in the first round. It's not that crazy that he would fall into the middle of the second round.

I agree, he got lucky getting him in the 3rd. Just goes to show that players can slide down the draft board.

Hedden93, why three TEs?

Does your flex option allow for TEs?

Honestly, I just screwed up. I should have drafted another RB instead but Witten was available for only 2 credits so I went for it. I figured at least this way I'm absolutely set at TE plus I won't have to go against someone who has Witten. I already regret it. I'm trying to trade one of my TE for another RB.

QB: Jay Cutler, Joe Flacco
RB: Ray Rice, DeMarco Murray, Donald Brown
WR: Julio Jones, Jordy Nelson, Percy Harvin, Antonio Brown, Torrey Smith, Kenny Britt, Justin Blackmon
TE: Jacob Tamme
K: Neil Rackers
DEF: Houston Texans

10 team league. I could have had McCoy instead of Rice, but got Rice because I had McCoy in my other league.

14 Team League. Picked last.

QB: Eli Manning, T. Tebow ( Waited way way too long to get backup QB and really who knows what will happen in NY)
RB: Forte, F. Jackson, J. Stewart, P. Hillis, E. Royster
WR: V. Jackson, P. Garcon, D. Moore, R. Randle, M. Sanu
TE: R. Gronkowski, C. Fleener
K: Henery
Def: Seattle

I feel like I got a bunch of base hits but not a lot of star power
