Assuming the price is right:

-Greg Jones. Again, for the right price.
-Pot Roast. Duh.
-Aaron Morgan. I really like him. I think he's steadily improving and showing that he belongs.
-Daryl Smith. He's been a defensive leader for a while now, and we are a much better team with him (best 4-3 OLB in the NFL?).
-Derek Cox. He's an excellent CB and trading up to get him was one of Gene's best moves. Hopefully he can get healthy and stay healthy.
-Rashad Jennings. MJD may not be here after next season, and even while he is here, we still need somebody to give him a rest.
-Rashean Mathis. Call me a homer, but I wouldn't let him walk. I think he still has something in the tank.

I think the rest of the guys could go either way based on what the rest of the season brings. Eben Britton is the most intriguing of the remaining group, due to his health. I think performance-wise, Kyle Bosworth could be a guy we bring back, if his play on the field this season is up to par.

Mathis was practically the best defensive player on the field in the limited plays he had last week. Stinks he had to blow the ACL, he was back to being a good CB last year before it happened. I still remember that Ravens game when Tucker just put him and Cox on an island and they shut down Boldin and Torrey Smith letting the DL and LBs wreak havoc on Flacco. Uggghhh... I wish those two were fully healthy, we'd be so much better, with an actual offense too? Damn.

People say we're saving the cap for extending players, but the only person I picture getting a 'significant' payday is Knighton. The rest are too injuryprone or aged

Hoping Gene is stashing that money for bringing in one or two impact FAs from other teams next season. Laurent may be a good pickup, Ross is a avg stopgap and Henne is just awful. Expecting to add one player for offense (OL or maybe TE) and one for defense (DL or maybe LB)

Brad Meester - C (Probably his final year here, can't imagine him getting a multi-year deal at this point in his career. Perhaps He's brough back on a 1 yr contract. Perhaps he signs elsewhere.)
Herb Taylor OT (Pass.)
Eben Britton - OT/G (Decision pending performance this season. If he can't stay healthy we may have to sever ties. He has the potential so I would be in favor of bringing him back.)
Rashad Jennings - RB (New contract needed here. I like him in the supplential role/ 1-2 punch with MJD. Would bring him back if he's not looking for a BIG deal. This season's performance will tell us what we need to know.)
Jalen Parmele - RB (Let him walk.)
Aaron Morgan - DE (For a low price tag, I like him on our depth chart.)
Terrance Knighton - DT (Say what you will, but he's been the rock on our D line since he got here. He deserves a deal, and I hope he has a monster year, signs for big money, and takes care of his momma and brother. He's the kind of Jaguar everyone loves to have in the community.)
Kyle Bosworth - LB (I like him on the depth chart. Bring him back.)
Daryl Smith - LB (Have to bring him back. Unless we wind up with a comparable or better replacement via draft/UFA.)
Greg Jones- FB (The not-so-secret, secret to our run game success. Gotta have him back!)
Derek Cox - CB (He's had the injury bug lately, but when he's on the field he's one of the better DBs in the league. I think Gene found a diamond with him, and we have to have him back.)
Rashean Mathis - CB (I would let him walk, unless he shows he's still got it with a big season this year.)
William Middleton - CB (Solid depth, and manages to not be completely embarrassed when thrust into an outside role. I like him in the nickel as well. Would not be opposed to bringing him back.)

*Those without comment I have no opinion on.

I want to keep most of those guys around. Taylor, Parmele, Spach, and Beekman are the only ones likely to not be worthy of a roster spot. Also, pleeeease go ahead and lock up Monroe long term a year early.

Beekman is no longer on the roster.

Pot Roast needs to stick, but is he still playing backup to Mosley? I keep thinking they're pampering his eye by doing so, but it seems there is something more to it. In a recent interview, Tucker suggested that TK needs to earn his starting role back. I think he's trying to inspire the big guy. Truth be told, he's better than Mosley and they know it.

I'm keeping Greg Jones. There seems to be talk every year as to why the team should let him go, but I've yet to understand this line of thinking.

As for Britton, I believe he needs to prove he can stay healthy to get a new deal. He clearly has a very sore ankle, but it sounds like he better play and play well this week to prove his toughness to the coaches. I sense they're close to the end of their rope with him, but if he can fight through this ankle thing and not miss anymore time, he just might claim a long-term contract.

Derek Cox and Rashad Jennings should be able to claim new contracts unless one of them simply can't return. I don't see the Jaguars as close to the end of their rope with either as they are with Britton, but they might be headed there if their injuries keep occuring.

Potter and Middleton are good role players that I can see sticking around with a good season.

Aaron Morgan is starting to round into something special as a player, but the bottom line is production. He's still a ways from proving he deserves a secure future with the team. He needs sacks.

Mathis and Meester are still playing well for the team, but it's a young man's sport. Last week Meester was an absolute BEAST, but that mis-snap makes me scratch me wonder if his age is starting to get to him. As for Mathis, he's still good but slowing down, and he's only going to get slower.

Parmele and Bosworth still have much to prove before Gene even considers signing either long-term, but they may stick around another year at minimum wage as they continue their quest to prove they deserve something more. The same can be said of all the players signed over the past couple weeks.

OK, you're a homer.

I think that if he can walk, let him (catchy line, I had to write it but, seriously, his time is pretty much up...time to move on).

All info from Spotrac.com

Brad Meester - C ( resign, unless we draft a center)
Herb Taylor OT
Eben Britton - OT/G ( only resign for cheap, he has not been healthy and unreliable the 4 years he has been here)
Josh Beekman - G
Rashad Jennings - RB ( he probably will look for a starting job)
Jalen Parmele - RB
Zach Potter - TE( tight end, will be addressed in draft)
Stephen Spach - TE
Aaron Morgan - DE ( resign, good depth)
Terrance Knighton - DT ( yes, top priority)
Kyle Bosworth - LB ( good god no)
Daryl Smith - LB ( yes, top Priority)
Greg Jones- FB ( yes)
Derek Cox - CB ( yes, but needs to prove he can stay healthy)
Rashean Mathis - CB ( probably not, jags need to get better and younger at corner, mathis only comes back if we cant find a better option, and we resign mathis for cheap)
William Middleton - CB( Yes, for depth)

Potroast and Daryl Smith are the top priorities, cox should get resigned but his health concerns are a question mark. Do the jags pay him, when he has shown to be unreliable. Britton has not earned a new contract, atleast not to get paid good. He has never been healthy and has been unreliable. Jones probably will get resigned, meester might but hes getting old and we might draft a center. The rest are depth, depends if the team likes them or not.

Aside from Smith, I think everyone else could be argued as possibly expendable for one reason or another.

Brad Meester - C - too old
Herb Taylor OT - at this time, unlikely
Eben Britton - OT/G - concerns about health
Josh Beekman - G
Rashad Jennings - RB - might be asking too much
Jalen Parmele - RB - just a guy
Zach Potter - TE - 3rd string TE
Stephen Spach - TE- another guy
Aaron Morgan - DE - I honestly don't know what everyone sees in him, has he ever done anything in the regular season?
Terrance Knighton - DT - concerns about character (considering passed offseason issues)
Kyle Bosworth - LB - another depth guy
Daryl Smith - LB - still in his prime, gotta lock him up
Greg Jones- FB - he's 31, how much more punishment can he take?
Derek Cox - CB - concerns about health
Rashean Mathis - CB - age, health concerns
William Middleton - CB - 4th or 5th best corner on team currently

That said, personally, I'd like to see Smith, Cox, Knighton, Jennings, Jones, Britton and Potter back. For the right price, Meester and Mathis if they still want to play. Like KM said though, really too early to tell with some of these guys.

All info from Spotrac.com

Brad Meester - C - One year contract, see if he can hold of the younger players
Herb Taylor OT - never seen play, most likely let wal
Eben Britton - OT/G - Sign to new deal
Josh Beekman - G - one year deal
Rashad Jennings - RB - Depends on play this year, if sporadic and keeps getting hurt, let walk to get pick.
Jalen Parmele - RB - let walk
Zach Potter - TE - let walk
Stephen Spach - TE -let walk
Aaron Morgan - DE - unless dramatic shift this year do not re-sign
Terrance Knighton - DT - Sign to new deal
Kyle Bosworth - LB - cheap backup spt
Daryl Smith - LB - Sign to new deal
Greg Jones- FB - Sign to low deal, FB's aren't worth that much
Derek Cox - CB - Sign to new deal
Rashean Mathis - CB - if healthy one-two year minimum deal
William Middleton - CB - moderate deal

Some of these players could be cut depending on who the Jaguars draft.

Right now they should target DE/OLB in the 1st, then pick BAP OL and draft somewhere a RB/WR hybrid that can catch and return kicks (our version of Harvin) and drafting a tweener LB that can cover fast TE's will be crucial.

As far as I know there is no rollover to next year. We have already spent over the cap for this year not counting last years one time rollover.

Brad Meester - C - I'm guessing he retires after this season.

Herb Taylor OT - Lets see how he plays.

Eben Britton - OT/G - If he can stay healthy and play at a high level the rest of the year, he'll be deserving.

Josh Beekman - G - Already released/

Rashad Jennings - RB - If we don't give him a reletivley nice contract, some other team will. He'll be starting somewhere in the league at some point.

Jalen Parmele - RB - Doubt he'll be resigned.

Zach Potter - TE - Will probably become expendable after this season.

Stephen Spach - TE - Doubt he'll be resigned as well.

Aaron Morgan - DE - If he can take advantages of the playing time he's getting, he;ll be resigned.

Terrance Knighton - DT - Hopefully the team is already talking to his about a new deal.

Kyle Bosworth - LB - Wouldn't surprise me either way, if he's resigned or let go.

Daryl Smith - LB - I really hope we resign him. He's played at a high level his whole career.

Greg Jones- FB - Same as Daryl.

Derek Cox - CB - If he can get back healthy, and play at a level as high as last season, he'll get a nice deal.

Rashean Mathis - CB - I'm thinking he may retire after this season.
.
William Middleton - CB - Not a bad 4th or 5th corner.

Eben Britton - OT/G - concerns about health. Re-Sign
Josh Beekman - G
Rashad Jennings - RB - might be asking too much. Will be picked up by another team sadly.
Jalen Parmele - RB - just a guy. May need him if Rashad leaves.
Zach Potter - TE - 3rd string TE. Tired of this guy, he can block but that's about it. Release.
Stephen Spach - TE- another guy. May as well give him a try.
Aaron Morgan - DE - I honestly don't know what everyone sees in him, has he ever done anything in the regular season? Talent, resign.
Terrance Knighton - DT - concerns about character (considering passed offseason issues) I think he's past all that, Resign.
Kyle Bosworth - LB - another depth guy. Agree
Daryl Smith - LB - still in his prime, gotta lock him up. Agree
Greg Jones- FB - he's 31, how much more punishment can he take? More like how much more can he dish out? Resign, he's been in his prime his whole NFL career.
Derek Cox - CB - concerns about health. I really see this kid having his name up their in the top 5 if he could just catch a break. Undecided.
Rashean Mathis - CB - age, health concerns. Resign, 1 year deal. He retires after we win the AFC Championship, & lose Superbowl lol.
William Middleton - CB - 4th or 5th best corner on team currently. Honestly, i think he's better than Ross. Which was a bad decision.
