How old are you?

Which age group is most represented on the board? -
Free Agency primer: CB

Shean is gone and Cox is being allowed to test the market. Even Middleton is a free agent. Today, the Jags best corners on the roster are Mike Harris and Aaron Ross. Yikes. I think it's safe to say that the FO will be bringing in multiple guys to compete for starting jobs. There's a pretty good crop of CBs in free agency.

Who could you see coming to Jax?
We know Gus' defense in SEA featured two big, physical corners.
At 6-3 and only 25, Sean Smith would be ideal. But, he is rumored to want an enormous contract. He will probably get it somewhere.
Other possible options?
Cary Williams (BAL) - 6-1, 28yrs
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie - 6-2, 26yrs
Aqib Talib (NE) - 6-1, 27yrs
Keenan Lewis (Pitt) - 6-0, 26yrs
Antoine Cason (SD) - 6-1, 26yrs
Bradley Fletcher (STL) - 6-0, 26yrs
Greg Toler (ARZ) - 6-0, 28yrs
Williams is likely looking for a big payday too after helping the Ravens win the Super Bowl. DRC was underwhelming in Philly, but was a playmaker in his Arizona days. Talib is a 10 tequila shots away from being kicked out of the league. Cason might be worth looking at.
Whether or not Cox returns, the Jags will be desperate at CB. There is a nice crop of them in the draft, but many of them will go off the board between the Jags' 1st and 2nd picks. Hopefully they get lucky and a guy like Trufant slips out of the 1st. -
Future HC of the Jaguars.

I've seen several topics on the future of Mike Mularkey and Gene Smith in Jacksonville; many of these topics have declared assumptions as to which most Jags fans would prefer. Let's put the topic to rest. What is your opinion on the coaching staff's status in Jacksonville? Is the underlying problem Gene Smith, the coaching staff, or are there other reasons for the dissention of the Jaguars?
Please keep in mind that I have been drinking heavily tonight and am in no shape to be posting topics. Have at it!

Lewis: "It's a big-time difference"
Nov 25 2012 10:40 PM
The players are clearly happy with the change at QB. It shows on the field, and it's beginning to show in interviews as well.
Some quotes:
Lewis (on Henne): "We just have a good relationship. He sees what I see. He looks for me. It's a big-time difference"
Mincey: "The funny thing about it is, I felt this game was won before it was played" (Why was it different this week?) "Uhhhhhhh"

Colin Kaepernick
Nov 20 2012 01:00 PM
Last year, CK was the QB I really liked. I actually thought that Jags would take him at 16. I hadn't really seen much on Gabbert as he was regarded as the #1 QB by many and expected him to go well before the Jags' pick. I was excited about the pick, although didn't really see the hype after watching his college highlights.
I thought CK looked solid in his 1st start. The overall talent level surrounding him on the 49ers is light years ahead of the Jags but he was very impressive, regardless. He showed nice pocket presence and made some beautiful touch throws while scorching a very good Bears defense. He is very athletic, and looks to have added some bulk since entering the league.
What did you think of Colin's first NFL start?
Also, are there any QBs in this upcoming draft that may be flying under the radar with a similar skill set?
