Unfortunately, it is undeniably true.
Too bad that the Tebow zealots couldn't have just let the poor kid play football.
GM Mike Tannenbaum, HC Rex Ryan, OC Sparano, and owner Woody Johnson created the false buzz.. He was put into a bad situation. Everyone expected him to play, and he was never allowed the chance. On top of that, the plays that the Jets ran for him made him look like a really bad football player. Nothing ever made sense.
Everyone seems to have forgotten the impact he made on the Broncos the year prior. Everyone embraced him there. Yes he did end the year with a bad loss to the Patriots, but he turned a 1-5 team around to make it to the playoffs and get a win as an underdog over the Steelers. -

As for the so called "media circus" he brings, last time I checked he didn't run a dog fighting operation, be accused of doing steroids, be convicted on DUI manslaughter, or beat his wife.
It is very disturbing to see some people on here celebrate the misfortunes of another person.
You hit it dead on. The media circus that everyone is afraid of is something that was created by the Jets' situation of having a QB controversy, not by Tebow himself. -

The only joke about it is Tebow playing the QB position. If he's not playing QB and doesn't expect to, then I don't see a problem with it. I see it as eliminating his weakness and playing to his strengths. -

In all seriousness I think we should give him a shot at fullback. We lost Greg Jones and are in need of one anyways. He can block for MJD and play to his strength and be a short yardage or endzone rusher. If leadership is lacking he would fill that hole as well. Might even be able to sprinkle in some direct snaps for trick play deep passes.
This way critics don't have to see him play as a QB, Gabbert won't have any distractions, Tebow-mania can finally make it to Jacksonville, and Khan gets his money. Everyone wins.
Fullbacks can still get love. Everyone here loved Greg Jones. Everyone in Green Bay love John Kuhn. Why not?

I get tired of seeing snide remarks and insults myself and wish the moderators control that mess
